Our Impact
Natural Doctors International has been providing free healthcare in Nicaragua, educating current and future physicians in NDI global health courses and advancing naturopathic and alternative medicine worldwide. For over 7 years, we have proved naturopathic and alternative medicine is a sustainable solution for underdeveloped countries. Here are some of our accomplishments:
In 2011, NDI treated thousands of patients, donated hundreds of medicines, and educated hundreds of students. Here’s a look at some of our recent achievements:
- We treated over 3500 patients in our clinics.
- Our doctors performed on average 10 PAP exams per month.
- We trained 79 naturopathic medical students and doctors in our Global Health Courses.
- We donated over $85,000 in medicines and supplies in Nicaragua.
- We gave out $5,000 in Bragg's Scholarship Awards to students and professionals.
